Wordpress blogs are really important today. As the web has moved away from static content to dynamic content, using a blog has become a real must.

I remember when I went to start my first wordpress blog. I went to wordpress.org and downloaded the free materials. It then told me to upload them to my server and build my blog. I have to be honest….at that point, I was lost. I had written websites with html before, but something about loading wordpress onto the my host just confused me.

Then I found a solution. My friend Gabe Strom had begun creating free wordpress blogs and his service called the free blog factory. The freeblogfactory or fbf, was a place where normal people like me could go get a free custom wordpress blog and get it installed with a premium theme for free.

So that is what I did. I went through the free blog factory and they built everything for free. I bought my own domain and hosting through them so I’d be able to actually own the blog instead of some subdirectory of someone else’s url.
